Authentic Swedish wooden plate rack with blue hand-painted motif
Late 18th-century, early 19th-century Swedish handmade wooden plate rack with scalloped side panels, executed in a grey-blue shade and hand-painted with dark blue circular motifs.
The rack has two tiers for placing plates upright behind the crossbars, plus a lower shelf where you can place crockery or spice jars.
Here and there, the wood shows through on the edges, accentuating its age and historical value. Beautiful patina.
