Antique hand-carved wooden board with star motif
Being hollowed out / carved from a single piece of solid wood is what makes this board so special. The board has raised edges and a handle.
A star motif (sun wheel / compass star) is hand-carved in the center of the recessed surface.
The wood displays a beautiful patina; the authentic signs of use show that this board has been used intensively for decades.
Remarkably, despite its age, it shows no woodworm holes.
Perfect for use as a serving board / presentation board, but also great against the back wall in your kitchen.
In very beautiful antique condition with a beautiful original patina and characteristic signs of use.
