Antique Swedish wooden cheese mold with handle – 19th century
An authentic two-compartment wooden cheese mold featuring hand-carved sun rosettes in the base, traditional wooden peg joinery, and a high, raised handle. The exterior is branded with initials.
The original drilled drainage holes, used to drain the whey during the cheesemaking process, remain visible in the bottom.
Date: 19th century (circa 1820–1880)
Condition: Good condition, featuring a beautifully aged patina.
