Antique Swedish apothecary cabinet
This antique apothecary cabinet is a dream of a find, featuring a sober appearance when the doors are closed.
The cabinet has a stunning, weathered look. The fronts of the doors show remnants of old grey-blue paint, which contrasts with the natural wood colour.
The enormous number of drawers inside, with their amazing patina, makes this an absolute showpiece. This type of cabinet was not only used in pharmacies but was also often found in large Swedish farmhouses or manor houses for sorting spices and herbs, seeds, or medicines.
The drawers have the original wooden knobs and are complete.
