Antique wooden milk tray / trough
This Swedish wooden trough is hand-carved from a single piece of wood. The bottom features original dark paint, creating a beautiful contrast with the worn, bare wood inside.
The initials LPD are inscribed on the flat bottom, referring to the owner or the farm where this trough was used for generations.
These troughs were used for baking bread (kneading dough) or for slaughtering.
