Swedish wooden trivet - handmade
An authentic, handcrafted Swedish four-legged wooden trivet (grytunderlägg) from 19th-century rural folk culture (allmoge). Made from solid softwood joined with traditional wooden peg construction.
The wood displays a wonderful, time-worn character and a rich, natural patina. Perfect for use as a functional trivet or styled as an understated rustic riser / pedestal for a candle, jug, or stoneware pitcher.
