Antique Swedish wooden Christmas candelabra with a hand-painted Tomte
This charming candlestick was crafted in the early 20th century. The piece is entirely hand-carved and hand-painted with an eye for detail. At the heart of the frame stands a sweet Swedish Tomte (Christmas gnome) inside a green-framed pine wreath, holding a Christmas gift firmly in his hands.
The twisted red base and frame display a wonderful, natural patina. At the top, there is space for three slim candles (such as Christmas tree candles or pencil candles) with a maximum diameter of 1 cm. The underside features a handwritten inscription along with the year 1926.
