Authentic Swedish wooden cheese mold, early 19th century
Beautiful handmade wooden cheese mold from the early 19th century, large model.
This authentic piece was used on Swedish farms to make artisanal cheese.
The beautiful dowel joints in the woodwork are clearly visible, and the bottom features a relief pattern. The wood is beautifully weathered and dark-colored, giving the mold a robust appearance.
Period: 19th century, early 20th century (1850-1910)
In beautiful condition. The bottom is attached to the mold.
