Antique French bell collar (bell collar or grelottière) with 10 spherical brass bells.
Originally, these collars were used for working livestock.
However, nowadays these collars are highly decorative, for example on a shelf.
The bells are made of cast bronze, have a beautiful patina, and hang from a leather strap.
