Authentic 19th-century Swedish bentwood box.

These boxes, often called "Svepask" in Sweden, are an example of 19th-century folk art. Oval-shaped and uniquely woven.

Wood: birch or spruce

These boxes were originally used for storing valuables such as butter (for weddings), sewing kits, or as a lunch box in the countryside.
