Swedish wooden trough / milk tray
This authentic hand-carved Swedish trough with its original red paint is a true collector's item. The red color, often called Falu Rödfärg, is iconic. It is originally a byproduct of the copper mines in Falun and was once used to give wooden houses the appearance of brick (a sign of wealth).
It has a beautiful, weathered character and is in good condition.
